VI fortsätter vår presentation av laget 2024 med att välkomna ett nyförvärv till Lumberjacks line up. Välkommen Ryan Arena!

Med redan tidigare erfarenhet av svensk baseboll, främst i Sundsvall, kommer Ryan bidra med rutin, kunskap och spets på planen, så väl som utanför planen. Så här säger Ryan själv:

Hello everybody!

My name is Ryan Arena and I am born and raised in New York. I am 27 years old and have played baseball just about my whole life. Ive played four years of college baseball at Babson College, located in Massachusetts, where I was named an All-American and also set the program single season home run record. Since graduating from Babson in 2018, Ive played professionally in the Pecos League in the US, one season in Australia, three seasons in Sweden, and just recently finished up my second season in New Zealand.

Baseball has been my entire life and I am grateful that it has allowed me to travel the world and introduce me to so many incredible people over the years. In addition to my playing career, I have coached kids of all ages back home in the US and also during my travels. Throughout my career, I have had some amazing coaches and I know how much of an impact a coach can have on young kids. I’m always striving to share as much of my knowledge as possible to younger athletes so that they can become not only the best player possible, but also the best person.

I look forward to being part of the Leksand community and I am so excited for this opportunity!
